I can confidently say many physical problems do NOT require the intervention of a licensed physician. The gym is often the best place to correct movement, eliminate pain, and restore performance, with no clinic or insurance co-payment required.

Then why would a nagging pain or injury set you back to the beginning or even put you on the sidelines?

I have witnessed, way too many times, people either regress back to isolation exercises, or even stop moving altogether, because they had nagging pain and/or a minor injury. Before we move on, it is important to know that any type of pain should always be checked by a licensed physician before attempting to correct your issue through exercise. If a major medical issue is not present, it is most likely “Movement Pain” which is caused by a lack of strength, mobility, and/or motor control. The great news …. this can typically be fixed WHILE keeping you doing the workouts, or keeping the lifestyle, you enjoy!
